The course provided in the members section of the web site offers many hours of online lessons teaching the concepts of the Balancetrader methodology. Some lessons start with a text document introducing the ideas presented in the lesson video. Each video presentation is an online lecture given in a classroom style format where you are shown various examples of the topics discussed in the text. You will see live market examples, snapshots and visual diagrams to reinforce the concepts being taught. I have found that most people have a more pleasurable learning experience in a visual environment. Most videos are 30 to 60 minutes in length and quite thorough.
Weblog Library
The members weblog allows you to take the learning material presented in the lessons and start applying it in the real world. The blog contains a fantastic back catalog of market analysis ranging the course of roughly 8 months of emini index futures. It also contains roughly three months of trade setup charts detailing the basic trade entry methods using the ideas presented in the course. You can literally spend weeks going through all of this information. It is this information which will give you the best insight as to how to apply the concepts in the markets real-time.
One-On-One Support
As a BalanceTrader member, you have the opportunity to schedule some one-on-one time, convenient for us both, in order to go over any questions you may have. Whether we work in the chat room, or do a Skype chat, we can find a way to get you the answers and interaction you desire. I cannot, however, promise an overabundance of this type of one-on-one time. It will be made available at my convenience. It is not an offer for private mentor-ship and is just another tool at your disposal.

The best thing about Balancetrader is its ability to mesh with other strategies and methodologies that you already know and love. Because Balancetrader is not a rigid, black box system, you can easily implement it with things such as moving averages, stochastics, Fibonacci, etc. In fact, Balancetrader’s main goal is to give a structural view of the market in order to make those other methods even more powerful. I understand that not everybody can be at their computer all day long or be able to attend multi-day learning seminars. Balancetrader is composed completely of online, on-demand, streaming video lessons. You can view the lessons whenever you want, as often as you like. Some people have gone through all the lessons in a couple days, while some decide to do the course over a few weeks. The choice is yours!
